Old Maps Library was born in 2015, and ever since we have been trading our beautiful reproductions of Maps and Illustrations from 17th to early 19th centuries at London & Edinburgh Street Markets.
Here at Old Maps Library, we love that we can use an old map to explore the history of a new world, and how much we can learn about the people who created them.
Our aim is to take our costumers on a journey through the eyes of historians and cartographers, and see how they've imprinted their dreams and drawn their ideas.
Our unique product has been meticulously crafted with great care and attention to detail. Maps and illustrations are printed using archival matte paper and special pigmented inks. Each print is mounted on a high quality linen by hand, providing them with both a stunning antique appearance and durability. Maps are folded and fitted into a hand wrapped marbled slipcase.
We believe that our products are the perfect gift, filled with history and memories. A wonderful keepsake from unique and breathtaking places around the world.
